Went to Dalit colony and discussed the views of Constitution maker Baba Saheb

On the instructions of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, Constitution Satyagraha Chaupal is being organised in Dalit colonies in every district and block of the entire state to install the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar in the Gwalior High Court premises. In this context, Constitution Satyagraha programme was organised at Power House Road, Jhabua.

On this occasion, all Congress members sat together with Dalit residents and had breakfast. Chief guest Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Nirmal Mehta was specially present in the programme. The programme was presided over by District Congress President Prakash Ranka. On this occasion, State Congress General Secretary Shajapur District Incharge Nirmal Mehta said that today the whole country respects Constitution maker Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar, while BJP leaders are strongly opposing the installation of his statue in Gwalior High Court, which is not justified. Congress is the only party which has never been in favour of any one caste and stands as a secular party by taking all castes together. Which believes in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. On this occasion, District Congress President Prakash Ranka said that the Congress party is a secular party which takes along the proletariat class and does not discriminate against any caste. BJP-RSS want to change the constitution in which respect is given to tribal, Dalit and backward classes. Congress will not let this effort of BJP succeed. His statue will be installed in Gwalior High Court. On this occasion, MLA Veer Singh Bhuria, spokesperson Sabir Fitwell, city Congress president Jitendra Singh Rathore, block president Kanha Gundia, Kailash Damor also addressed the occasion. Hundreds of people from Dalit community including Roop Singh Damor, NSUI President Narvesh Amshilar, Rashid Qureshi, Bablu Katara, Suresh Sameer Wasim, Syed Mansingh Meda, Jitendra Shah, Vijay Shah, Rajni Chauhan were present in the organized Constitution Satyagraha Chaupal.
