DDCA Secretary Ashok Sharma is this time focusing on the option of players standing strong before entering the field. In a conversation, Ashok Sharma said that we have already started fitness camps for the preparation of players of Ranji Trophy and other age groups. But this time we do not want to let the female players lag behind in fitness and skill. DDCA women won the Under 23 title last season. In such a situation, they are being motivated to perform better in senior and junior this year. Under this, a 15-day fitness and skill camp has been organized at the Railway's Karnail Singh Stadium under the supervision of the first female Dronacharya coach Sunita Sharma. In which more than 70 women players of senior and junior categories are included. Ashok Sharma told that 50 senior and 20 junior players of under 19 and 16 age group have been kept in the camp, so that the players coming from junior to senior can perform better in future. Similarly, in senior men also more than 100 players of every category have been kept so that this time Delhi's performance in Ranji Trophy remains good. The men's camp is being held at Stephen College Ground, Morigate. Both these camps will run till the first week of July. He told that in the coming time also similar camps of players will be held, so that players can be tested at every level.
