Over 1000 Yoga Enthusiasts Celebrate International Day of Yoga 2025 at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital

In a remarkable display of wellness and mindfulness, over 1000 yoga enthusiasts gathered at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) and Safdarjung Hospital to commemorate the International Day of Yoga 2025. The grand celebration marked a decade of yoga excellence and community wellness initiatives.
The event was graced by eminent dignitaries including:
Dr. Sandeep Bansal, Director, Safdarjung Hospital
Ms. Aradhana Patnaik, Additional Secretary, Mission Director NHM.
Marking ten years of yoga excellence, the celebration featured a symbolic gesture of environmental consciousness with the planting of 10 trees, representing growth and sustainability. This initiative reflects the holistic approach of yoga that encompasses not just physical and mental well-being but also environmental harmony.
Special Recognition at Yog Samavesh
A proud moment during the Yog Samavesh ceremony saw Additional Secretary Aradhana Patnaik and Director Sandeep Bansal felicitating Dr. Manisha Joshi, Founder of Devayaa, A Society for welfare of women and children for her exceptional contribution to organizing an inspiring 10-day signature yoga event specifically designed for expectant mothers. This innovative program highlighted the importance of prenatal wellness and mindful motherhood.

Manisha & Satinder Yoga Therapists.
