Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva stated that today’s results of the elections for ward committees and the standing committee of the Delhi Municipal Corporation have clearly established that the Aam Aadmi Party is a disintegrating party. Not only has it lost public support, but now even its elected representatives and party office bearers are drifting away from it.

Mr. Virendra Sachdeva said that winning the Chairmanship in 8 zones including South Delhi, along with an additional victory in the Standing Committee elections, and the Deputy Chairmanship in the Rohini zone, clearly reflects the growing dissatisfaction among Aam Aadmi Party’s municipal councillors towards the party leadership.

Mr. Sachdeva further stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party will also win the election for the 11th member of the Standing Committee in the Delhi Municipal Corporation tomorrow. Soon after, we will conduct the election for the Chairman of the Standing Committee and streamline the municipal administration to restart the stalled development works.
