Collector inspected the Dugwell Recharge in Raipuriya. Observed the farm pond constructed under MNREGA in Raipuriya.

Collector Neha Meena today inspected the farm pond under construction under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan in Jamli, Dugwell Recharge in Raipuriya and the farm pond constructed under MNREGA.

As 1125 farm ponds and about 4000 Dugwell recharges are being constructed in the district under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan.

Farm pond under construction under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan:-

Collector Neha Meena inspected the sports pond under construction in the field of beneficiary Shankar Bhuria in Jamli. During the inspection of the farm pond, the Collector encouraged the beneficiary to use polyvinyl sheets.

He said that by using the sheet, the storage can be maintained by stopping the seepage of water. Along with this, the Collector directed to orient the farmers making farm ponds in this way for the use of polyvinyl sheets.

Inspection of Dugwell Recharge:-

The Collector inspected the Dugwell Recharge under construction in Raipuriya Gram Panchayat under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. In order to ensure availability of water even after rain in the construction of wells under Kapildhara well, the construction of Dugwell Recharge is being encouraged under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. The Collector discussed with the beneficiary Mrs. Rekha Amaliyar about the benefits of Dugwell Recharge.

Inspection of Farm Pond in Gram Panchayat Raipuriya:-

The Collector inspected the farm pond constructed in the field of beneficiary Mrs. Mainabai, wife of Mangilal Patidar under MNREGA in Gram Panchayat Raipuriya. The beneficiary's family members told that after the construction of the farm pond, there is availability of water for irrigation.

Seeing the positive attitude of the farmers towards the farm pond in the area, Collector Neha Meena directed the Fisheries Department to make efforts for fish farming under the Blue Revolution Scheme as well.

During this, Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Petlawad Ms Tanushree Meena, Chief Executive Officer District Petlawad Rajesh Dixit, Assistant Director Horticulture Department Neeraj Sanwaliya, Assistant Director Fisheries Department Dilip Solanki, Naib Tehsildar Petlawad Ms Ankita Bhide and others were present.
