Rotary Club of Meghnagar celebrated its foundation day today by distributing food to the destitute people.

Rotary Club of Meghnagar celebrated its foundation day with great pomp by distributing food packets and food to the destitute people at Megheshwar Mahadev Shankar Temple Ram Roti Anu Darbar and at Azad Chowk, Bus Stand, Jhabua Square, Sai Square, main squares of the city and distributing high quality Kitkat chocolates.

Founding President of Rotary Club of Meghnagar Bharat Mistry told that Rotary Club of Meghnagar was formed on 11 June 2015

and today it has been a decade, so all the Rotary colleagues celebrated the foundation day of their organization. On this occasion, President of Rotary Club of Meghnagar Mahendra Solanki, Founding President Bharat Mistry, Secretary Pankaj Ranka, Mangilal Nayak, Govind Singh Chauhan, Kantilal Neema, Journalist Farooq Sherani, Rahim Sherani, Devendra Panchal, etc. were present.

Meghnagar Rotary Club is providing essential basic facilities to the people of its city and region with the help of donors 24 hours a day. Every person of the city is proud of himself for getting all these important facilities.

Rotary Club of Apna organises plastic surgery camps for the people of the region and gets the most expensive operations done in metros done free of cost.

From time to time, thousands of patients are provided health benefits by organising all-disease diagnosis camps. People are also benefited by organising complete body checkup camps. Blood donation is not only provided in Meghnagar but also in big hospitals of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, patients admitted in blades are provided.

In the field of education, furniture was provided in schools, toys, swings and merry-go-rounds for children to play, smart class for studies, copies, books, bags, pens, pencils, erasers etc. were provided to children. High quality chocolates, biscuits, Maggi etc. worth about Rs. 70 lakhs were distributed through PDG Gajendra Singh Narang.

In the field of environment and cleanliness, dustbin distribution was done. Swachhata Abhiyan was conducted from Tehsil office to over bridge and today the saplings have become trees. Even during the Corona period, distribution of food items, masks, sanitizers and essential items was done and along with the administration, vaccination was done and food packets were given to the passengers coming by train. Corona was defeated by providing services like these.

Work was done to make the handicapped brothers and sisters self-reliant by providing them artificial hands and feet through institutions.

Meghnagar Rotary Club has an identity and we believe in working on the ground and not in just talking. In a decade, Rotary Club has done permanent projects which are continuously running

1 Drinking water tank for dead animals

2 Air-conditioned mortuary with facility to keep two dead bodies

3 Physiotherapy centre ?80 per patient only for technician and that money is kept by technician

4 Three water kiosks with water cooler and RO

5 Foldable chair for passersby to sit at Tehsil office, Ganesh temple etc. and on the roadside

6 Blood donation to hospitalized patients as per requirement

7 Utensil bank: Arrangement of utensils for cooking and serving food for 100 people is free

8 Medical equipment bank: About 230 equipment are available in Meghnagar and Thandla and service is being provided in the area of ??50 km around Meghnagar. About 75% equipment are always in use in people's homes for which no fee is charged and no deposit is required

9 Rotary garden: 800 feet long

10 Funeral Arrangement of wood for cremation of one person, nominal fee of ?1500 is charged for wood and sticks

11 For Moksha Rath last journey till Muktidham, only driver's fee of 200/- is charged and if it goes outside Meghnagar, then driver and diesel charges are charged

12 We have two ambulances available, that too is free in local and nominal charge is charged if it goes outside Meghnagar

13 Hearse van that too is free in local and if it goes outside Meghnagar, then driver and petrol charges are charged

14 One mobile dead body freezer. Today, family members go to far off big cities for education and employment and in case of untimely death, it is very necessary to keep the dead bodies safe for waiting for them.

15 Bird Houses

16 Due to the railway track being here, passengers die in accidents almost every day. In such a situation, passengers from far off places have shortage of money. The last rites of such people as well as orphans and poor people are performed by Rotary Club Apna.

17 Water Tanker: Whether it is a marriage or death ceremony, water tankers are provided free of cost wherever water is required.
