Awareness program in SRF company under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, a special awareness program was organized for the employees in SRF company located in Malanpur Industrial Area. The purpose of this program was to make the employees aware of the ill effects of drug addiction and motivate them to stay away from it.

Addressing the program, Brahmakumari Jyoti sister, director of Brahmakumari Malanpur Seva Kendra, said that "drugs destroy life, it not only makes the body sick but also has a negative impact on the family and society." Describing drug addiction as a slow poison, she inspired everyone to stay away from it. She said that things like tobacco, gutka, alcohol, cigarettes and drugs cause serious diseases like cancer.

In the program, Brahmakumari Rekha sister, director of Porsa Seva Kendra, stressed on cleanliness and said that "Just as we clean the house and the street, similarly cleaning of the mind and body is also necessary." He said that avoiding wasteful thoughts and being physically clean is the key to a healthy life.

SRF Company's HR Manager Mr. Santosh Pathak made the employees aware of some real examples of the harm caused by drug addiction and said that the employees who give up drug addiction will be encouraged and rewarded by the company. He said, "We all are the foundation of the company, and we should take responsibility to keep it healthy and clean."

At the end of the program, an impressive play based on de-addiction was presented by the members of Brahma Kumaris, which was appreciated by the people present. Inspired by the program, many employees shared their experiences on the stage and took an oath to live a drug-free life.

This event was a commendable initiative towards the mental, physical and social development of the employees.
