How should the children of government schools prepare, Delhi state competitions begin.

-25 government pools closed, officials have not yet taken the necessary approval, it takes up to three months to get it.

-Preparations to open swimming pools in a hurry.

There was a time when the children of government schools of Delhi used to be ahead in every sport, not just swimming. There were some players whose national records are still present. Khajan Singh Tokas, Dharampal Tokas, Sandeep Sejwal etc. are prominent names who have brought fame not only to the state but also to the country on the international stage.

If we talk about the present, state level games are being organized in the capital under the name of Delhi Games under the aegis of Delhi Olympic Association. A large number of games are to be played in this. One of these is also swimming competition.

In this competition, the children of government schools will try to give their hundred percent performance. But since the Delhi Government swimming pool has been closed for two years, what formalities will the Delhi swimmers complete this time too.

The interesting thing is that the previous government had also said that they will do a lot for the players of Delhi. The current Chief Minister has also promised that he will not let the players of Delhi go to other states.

It is known that due to lack of facilities, most of the players of Delhi go to other states and make a name for themselves, where they get a lot of money and fame from those states.

If sources are to be believed, the SO and top officials of the Sports Wing of the Delhi Government, whose office is at Chhatrasal Stadium, never want the swimming pool to be operational. This is the reason that even after working for 17 months, the swimming coaches and life guards did not get their salary, the same situation prevails at present as well, they are waiting for their salary for six months. However, it is being said that the previous dues have been received. However, it is also being said that after the news of Delhi Government's swimming pools came in the media, the said officials are pressurizing their coaches to open the pools without taking the necessary approval. It is known that to open a swimming pool, first approval has to be taken from the Sports Authority of India, then from Delhi Municipal Corporation and thirdly from the license department of Delhi Police. It takes up to three months to do this work, only then the swimming pools start operating from April 1, but the approval has not even been started yet, so how can the pools start. Due to the swimming pools not being open, Delhi's swimmers are not able to complete their preparations. Their record in the game will also remain bad. The players may be troubled by this, but the officials are having fun. They are not concerned about the players at all, this is not the case of any one sport, it is being said that this is the condition of all the sports. If action was taken against the officers sitting at Chhatrasal and the employees below at the right time, the pools would not have been closed for two years. Yes, the players are getting relief from the news in the media that perhaps the swimming pools will be opened this time. But it seems too early to say for how long.
