Every year, the great festival of Shani Jayanti is celebrated with pomp and show on the Amavasya date of Krishna Paksha of Vaishakh month

This time, this auspicious day is the birth anniversary of Lord Shani Dev, the king of Kaliyug, and the temple was decorated attractively on Shani Janmotsav, Lord Shani Dev was specially adorned and 56 bhogs were offered to him. Along with this, Vat Savitri fast was also observed on this day.

This day holds special significance for women.

Shani Dev is considered the god of karma, justice and fortune. By fasting and worshipping on the day of Shani Jayanti, a person gets freedom from the doshas caused by Shani in his life, such as Sade Sati, Dhaiyya, etc. Thousands of devotees from the city, many social organizations and social workers participated in the special havan and Maha Abhishek at Shani temple and took the religious benefits of Maha Aarti and milk Prasadi and also participated in the Prana Pratishtha program at Banke Bihari temple. Shobha Yatra was taken out in the program organized again by Shri Dasha Nagar Samaj Thandla in Shri Banke Bihari temple Thandla for idol Prana Pratishtha Mahotsav till 28/05/2025 in the ancient Banke Bihari temple 28/05/2025, Wednesday Idol Prana Pratishtha - Afternoon 11.31 1.46 Purnahuti Maha Aarti - Afternoon At 2 pm in the Maha Prasadi, at 5.30 pm many social organizations, many public representatives, social workers and thousands of devotees took religious benefits by participating in the Maha Yagya, after the successful event, Shri Dasha Nagar Samaj, Organizing Committee Thandla expressed gratitude to the donors and the residents of the city, a large number of people reached to participate in the religious program.
