VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital observed World Emergency Day with a series of engaging and educational events raising awareness.

The Department of Emergency Medicine organized a “Nukkad Natak” depicting real-life emergencies like stroke, heart attack, and road traffic accidents—drawing in a large audience.

In addition, poster making, an activity was done on the theme of “Your Heart is in Emergency”, followed by prizes.

Dr Arin Chowdhary organized CPR Training for general public.

Dr. Sandeep Bansal Medical Superintendent appreciated the effort and emphasized public awareness of emergencies and their management.

Principal VMMC Dr Geetika Khanna congratulated Dr. Arin Chowdhary for the successful commencement of the programme and the department’s outstanding efforts for patient care.

The programme was graced by AMS Dr R P Arora, AMS Dr Krishan Kumar , Dr Vandana Talwar Dean and ONS Mrs Kailash Pal and her team.

The Program was attended by a large number of patients and their care takers.
