A crime review meeting was organized by the Superintendent of Police in the control room.

On 26th May 2025, an important crime review meeting was organized by Superintendent of Police Jhabua Padmavilochan Shukla in the Control Room Jhabua. All the Police Sub-Divisional Officers of the district, SDOP, Police Station In-charge and Outpost In-charges were present in this meeting. The main objective of the meeting was to control crime in the district, quick resolution of pending cases, and bring more efficiency in the police functioning. The meeting started with a review of pending crimes, complaints and cases registered on various portals in the district. The Superintendent of Police gave clear instructions to all the officers that all unresolved and pending cases should be resolved on priority basis, so that the pendency can be reduced soon. Showing sensitivity towards crimes related to women, he directed not to take any kind of negligence in these cases and said that the related cases should be investigated seriously.

The Superintendent of Police also gave instructions for necessary action towards prompt service of pending summons/warrants in the district, complaints received from CM Helpline, redressal of complaints lodged on NCRP portal and CEIR portal. He gave special instructions to the station in-charges for prompt recovery of kidnapped boys/girls, recovery and prompt disposal of related cases.

In order to further strengthen the monitoring system of criminals, instructions were given to keep a constant watch on the criminals and miscreants active in the police station area and ensure legal preventive action against them if any suspicious activity is found. Apart from this, clear guidelines were also given to take strict action by running a special campaign against the persons involved in anti-social acts like sale and consumption of narcotics, purchase and sale of illegal weapons, gambling and betting in the district.

Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Premlal Kurve, SDOP Jhabua Mrs. Rooprekha Yadav, SDOP Thandla Ravindra Rathi, DSP Girish Kumar Jejurkar and all the station and outpost in-charges of the district were present in the meeting. At the end of the meeting, the Superintendent of Police reiterated the commitment of all the officers to maintain law and order, strengthen the sense of security among the general public and make the working of the police more transparent and sensitive in the public interest.
