KEEPING OUR COMMITMENT OF KEEPING DELHI STREETS SAFE, FIVE ILLEGAL ARMS MANUFACTURERS AND SUPPLIERS ARRESTED BY AGS UNIT OF CRIME BRANCH FROM DISTRICT-DEEG, RAJASTHAN

? In a Major breakthrough, AGS unit of Crime Branch arrested 05 persons of engaged in Manufacturing and Supplying of illegal Arms, in an operation running continuously for 03 days.
? They are supplying Arms to Criminals and Gangs in NCR including infamous Vikas Lagarpuria Gang based in Delhi & NCR.
? Nexus of Gangs- illegal Arms Manufactures/ suppliers’ having roots at District- Deeg, Rajasthan busted by Crime Branch.
? Equipment’s used to manufacture these illegal ARMS recovered in huge quantity and place of making these weapons on hill top (in Deeg district, Rajasthan) is identified, infrastructure of manufacturing these illegal ARMS dismantled.
? Total 11 illegal weapons including 10 sophisticated Country made katta and one long riffle (12 bore). Total 17 rounds cartridges, including cartridges used to test fire and recoil spring used to test these ARMS recovered and seized.
? Stringent provision of 05/25 of Arms Act and section 61(2) BNS invoked for manufacturing of illegal weapon. Further investigation is going on in the case.
INTRODUCTION:
    In a significant breakthrough, the Anti Gangs Squad of Crime Branch, Delhi Police, has busted a major racket of accused persons indulged in the manufacturing & supply of classy fire arms. Arrested two skilled manufacturers and three suppliers. Huge cache of fire Arms viz Dessi Katta, Riffle, live & fired/tested ammunition and gadgets/instruments used in the manufacturing of fire arms recovered. Accused persons were arrested in ongoing probe in Case FIR No. 54/2024, u/s 25 Arms Act, registered at PS Crime Branch, Delhi. 
FACTS OF THE CASE:
In case FIR No.54/2025, date 04.03.2025, u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch, one Rohit Gahlot (Active member of Vikas Lagarpuria Gang) was arrested and 02 Country made pistol and 03 rounds were recovered from his possession. During investigation, it revealed that the illegal Arms were procured from area near Pahadi, District- Deeg, Rajasthan from one Juber and his associates. It further, revealed that, they are Arms Manufacturers/ supplier. 
 
INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION 
    Keeping in view of the surge in the supply of illegal weapons among notorious gangs, snatchers, criminals, AGS Crime Branch was specifically tasked by Senior officers of Crime Branch to develop information & take actions against the major arms suppliers active in Delhi NCR. Accordingly, a sleuth of AGS, Crime Branch was tasked to develop information about arms suppliers. HC Rahul, HC Amit & Ct Manish were explicitly tasked for the above purpose. Team worked accepted the challenge and identified one major supply chain of arms peddlers leaded by infamous notorious arms peddlers Juber@ Jubair on the basis of investigation lead in case FIR No.54/2025 PS Crime Branch. The team worked tirelessly and after months long marathon reccee of impregnable thick forests/locations of Pahadi, Deeg, Rajasthan, they identified the members as well as hideouts of above arms racket. Since the members of the arms racket were working from various locations, hence, after zeroing the targets, a teams of AGS Crime Branch officers comprising of SI Rajaram, SI Randhawa, SI Chetan, ASI Ramesh, ASI Mahesh Tyagi, HC Amit, HC Rahul, HC Jitender Kumar, W/HC Mamta, HC Paramjeet, HC Prashant, HC Radhey Shyam, Ct Manish and Ct. Manjeet led by Insp Pawan Kumar under the close supervision of Sh. Bhagwati Prasad, ACP/AGS, on direction and supervision of Sh. Harsh Indora, DCP Crime-III and overall supervision, command & guidance of undersigned was constituted, team raided the various locations (four villages at the same time) in District- Deeg, Rajasthan. On the basis of technical surveillance and diligent ground work, the team initially successfully apprehended four persons namely Mubin, Sher Mohmad @Sheru, Harvinder Singh and Sonu Singh, risking their life and despite the fact that the apprehended persons desperate enough, they don’t hesitate while opening fire on Police/Law Enforcement Agency. From their possession, a large heavy arsenal including one sophisticated riffle were recovery. 
The details of recovery affected from the arrested persons is as under:
i. 11 illegal fire Arms including 10 Classy countries made Kattas and one long sophisticated Country made 12 bore Riffle.
ii. 12 live cartridges  
iii. 05 used/fired cartridges for test fire of illegal ARMS.
iv. Spring coils used in testing of hammer strength of Arms
v. Huge quantity of gadgets/equipment/instruments used in manufacturing of fire arms
vi. One Motor Cycle used in Crime 
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS
1. Accused Harvinder Singh s/o Surjit age-46 years disclosed that he was born at his village. He had studied till class 5th from his native village. He is working a RO/battery repairer at Alwar, Rajasthan. He had some family dispute with his family related to property. He was in search of weapon to protect his family. He came to know about one Mubin and Juber who, deals in supply of weapon. Hence, he contacted Juber for procuring the illegal weapon. After that, he started purchasing the illegal ARMS from manufacturers and started supplying to Criminals and Gangsters. On instruction of Juber, he reached the address of Juber along with his cousin Sonu Singh where, he met Mubin and procured 03 Country made pistol and 03 live cartridges were recovered from the motorcycle which he took to the address of accused Juber for procuring the illegal weapon. He also develops connections with gangs based in Delhi for supply of illegal fire Arms, the same is under probe.
2. Accused Sonu Singh s/o Pahlwan Singh age-23 years was born at his village near Alwar, Rajasthan. He is a BA pass out and he is unmarried at present. He is working as a recovery agent for last two years in TVS Company. He started working with Harinder Singh in procuring illegal Arms and supplying it further at higher price.
3. Accused Mubin s/o Lt Rujdar r/o Distt Deeg Rajasthan Age- 62 years disclosed that he is working as labour in his village. He has total 10 children, out of which 03 are left unmarried. He further disclosed that he learned the work of making illegal weapon from one Fatte in year 2013. Fatte died in the year 2017. It takes 03-04 days to manufacture desi katta and sold the same at a price between Rs.10,000/- to Rs.12,000/-. Cost of Riffle is between Rs. 25,000/- to Rs.30,000/-. Manufacturing was done at residence and near the hills on make shift places, specially made for this purpose. The parts of making the illegal weapon were procured from scrape dealers from Kama area.  In the year 2018, he was arrested in FIR No. 272/2018, u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch for dealing in illegal weapons. Today on instructions of Juber, he supplied 03 Country made pistol and 03 live cartridges to Harvinder Singh who came to residence along with his cousin Sonu Singh. The deal was finalized in Rs.10,000/- per piece. 
4. Accused Sher Mohmad@ Sheru s/o Fazru r/o Distt Deeg, Rajasthan Age 42 years disclosed that he had studied till 3rd class. He has 07 girl child and one son was adopted. He is running a kiryana store in village. He manufactures the illegal arms in Pahadi area of Rajasthan. He learned the said work of manufacturing the illegal arms in year the 2010 Utawad Nangla, UP. The parts of making the illegal weapon were procured from scrape dealers from Kama area. Accused Mubin is his relative (Jija) along with whom he was working as a manufacturer. It takes 03-04 days to manufacture and desi katta and sold out in Rs.10,000/-. He was found involved in Case FIR No. 07/2015, u/s 3/25 Arms, PS Jurera, Deeg, Rajasthan.
5. Accused Juber s/o Ismail r/o District Deeg, Bharatpur Rajasthan, age 28 years studied up to 5th class. He is married and have 05 children; he is Ironsmith by profession. Mubin (arrested in case) is his uncle and Sher Mohmad @Sheru is his maternal uncle. He learnt the technique of making ARMS from them. After that, he started working as supplier and used to get commission of Rs.2000/- to Rs.3000/- per illegal Arms. He is selling illegal Arms and also running shop of agriculture equipment at his village, in order to hide his illegal activities from authorities. He was specifically named by arrested accused Rohit Gahlot (arrested member of Vikas Lagarpuria Gang) as the person from whom they had procured illegal ARMS.  He was found involved in Case FIR No. 07/2015, u/s 25 Arms, PS Jurera, Deeg, Rajasthan.
