Collector Neha Meena held a meeting of the District Health Committee in the Collector's meeting room. In the meeting, maternal health, identification and management of high risk women, review of maternal mortality rate, promotion of institutional delivery, vaccination under child health, review of infant mortality, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Maternity Assistance Scheme, sickle cell screening, leprosy prevention program, anemia free India program, Ayushman Bharat program, eSanjeevani program, blindness prevention program, National Tuberculosis Eradication Program, RBAK program, NRC program, dialysis, tobacco control program were reviewed.

In the meeting, the collector reviewed the registration of pregnant women block wise.

In which instructions were given to issue notice to Meghnagar BMO due to poor progress.

Instructions were given to review the anemia in pregnant women and identify the women at high risk and follow them up. Expressing displeasure over the lack of identification of severe anemia, he said that if any employee is not working then take action against him. Along with this, instructions were given to prepare a calendar and organize a block level meeting. Iron tablets should be given. All BMOs were told to ensure the presence of CHO at health centers. Keeping in view the rainy season, ensure the presence of employees at the headquarters. The ground staff should remain active for the next 2 months.

The collector directed that all pregnant women should be made to register compulsorily in the first trimester and provide health services by registering on the Anmol portal. Ensure the vaccination of all children and make entry on the Yuvin portal. No child should be deprived of vaccination. Identify measles cases and ensure reporting. Ensure institutional delivery at delivery centres as per target. The BMO should personally visit and review the delivery centres which have low performance. After reviewing the severely malnourished children, it was said that the severely malnourished children should be admitted to NRC. There should not be any kind of negligence.

Collector Neha Meena directed that the Health Department and Women and Child Development Department should organize meetings at block level and sector level. Ensure availability of essential medicines at all centres.

Provide appreciation letters to the employees who have done good work. Every pregnant mother should get a checkup done on the day of Pradhan Mantri Matrutva Surakshit Abhiyan Day.

Provide surgery services to the children identified under the RBSK program.

Make a calendar and make Ayushman cards of all eligible beneficiaries.

During the meeting, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. BS Baghel, Civil Surgeon Dr. ML Malviya, District Program Officer Women and Child Development Department RS Baghel, District AYUSH Officer Dr. Pramila Chauhan and other district level officers, block level officers and employees were present.
