Unanimous demand in the meeting of Shri Ramlila Mahasangh that Delhi's Ramlila committees should get free facilities on the lines of Kavad and Hajj 

A special meeting of Shri Ramlila Mahasangh, an organization of all the Ramlila committees of the capital, was held at the Constitution Club in New Delhi under the chairmanship of the president of the Mahasangh, Shri Arjun Kumar. MP from Chandni Chowk area Shri Praveen Khandelwal was specially present in this meeting organized with the purpose of resolving the problems occurring during the Ramlila event on one platform. In this meeting, hundreds of representatives of the committees apprised the honorable MP and administrative officials of their problems. 

President of Shri Ramlila Mahasangh Shri Arjun Kumar said that just as the Delhi government provides all the facilities free of cost to Kavad Seva and Delhi Hajj.  Similarly, the Ramlila committees which have been involved in spreading the message of Lord Shri Ram from house to house for years should also be provided with facilities like electricity, water, ground, cleaning etc. free of cost. He told that even during the rule of Mughals and British, Ramlilas used to get all the facilities free of cost. Delhi's Ramlila committees will show the story of army bravery Operation Sindoor in Ramlila.

Mahasangh President Arjun Kumar also told that last year DDA did not book the ground for Ramlilas for more than 10 days through online booking, some Ramlila grounds were reserved for auction. It takes at least 45 days for the preparations of Ramlila staging, DDA and all other departments should book the ground for 45 days free of cost.
The license application for Ramlilas by Delhi Police is a very difficult process, the license should be simplified and applied at the district level.  Similarly, the process of providing electricity for Ramlilas by the electricity company of Delhi is very complicated, that too should be simplified. Arjun Kumar apprised Shri Praveen Khandelwal MP about all the problems that every year Ramlilas have to face problems due to the orders of various agencies and they have to make rounds of different departments, you should implement single window system for Ramlilas of Delhi so that all the Ramlilas of Delhi get relief.

Shri Praveen Khandelwal, MP of Chandni Chowk area assured the Ramlila committees of Delhi that I will personally discuss with all the civic agencies related to the Ramlila event of Delhi and all the problems will be resolved before the event. Ramlila staging in Delhi will be very grand and peaceful this year as in the previous years. The blessings of Lord Shri Ram are on all of us and will remain the same.

 Shri Subhash Goyal, General Secretary of Shri Ramlila Mahasangh informed that this year Ramlila Mahotsav will be celebrated from 22 September 2025 to 3 October 2025 and Dussehra festival will be celebrated with great pomp all over the world on 2 October 2025. Subhash Goyal also informed that on this occasion MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal was honoured by presenting Hanuman ji's mace, a symbol of power.
