Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior's Law Department organized a one-day workshop on the subject of Functioning of Debt Recovery Tribunal

Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior's Law Department organized a one-day workshop on the subject of Functioning of Debt Recovery Tribunal today on 06.05.2025 in the premises of the institute.

The main objective of this workshop was to teach the students of the Law Department about the business opportunities in the Debt Recovery Tribunal and the nuances of advocacy in the tribunal.

As the chief guest of the program, Advocate Manoj Kumar Shahi said that in today's time, the inclination of law students is increasing more towards corporate. He said that if the students choose advocacy, then this can be a good opportunity for their future and he has also urged for D.R.T. And explained the law of SARFAESI Act in detail and gave a detailed lecture on Section 32 which talks about information. At the end, he also answered the questions of all the students.

During the program, the Director of the Institute, Dr. Nishant Joshi, Co-Director, Dr. Tarika Singh Sikarwar, Principal of Law Department, Dr. Rakhi Singh Chauhan were present. During the program, the students were made aware about the methodology of giving quick and effective decisions by the Debt Recovery Tribunal and also shared their important views. More than 200 students of the Law Department were present during the program.

The program was conducted by the Law Department and during the program, all the Associate Professors of Law Department, Dr. Hariom Awasthi, Associate Professor Dr. Akshay Bhargava, Associate Professor Ashish Yadav, Associate Professor Abil Hussain, Associate Professor Shweta Singh, Associate Professor Rahul Srivastava were present and in the end Associate Professor Mansi Gupta expressed her gratitude to everyone.
