Varsha is giving employment to others by setting up an animal feed manufacturing industry

Mrs. Varsha Kanthalia is an educated young woman from a middle class family living in Rambhapur Panchayat of Meghnagar Tehsil of Jhabua district. She had dreamed of setting up a high quality animal feed manufacturing industry to increase the income of the farmers of Jhabua region.

A large amount of capital was required to make the dream come true. She was contacted by the Regional Officer of District Trade and Industry Center Jhabua and was informed that loan can be easily available for setting up a new industry under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Karyakram Yojana.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Karyakram, she took a loan of Rs. 25.00 lakh from M.P. Gramin Bank Rambhapur Jhabua and set up an animal feed manufacturing industry and is earning an income of Rs. 50 thousand per month to support her family.

Along with providing employment to 05 to 06 employees, she is depositing regular installments of the bank every month.

She has also received a grant of 8.5 lakhs. Varsha says that due to the ambitious scheme of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, my dream of becoming an industrialist woman has come true. I thank Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and the district administration.

I want that this scheme should continue to be implemented in future as well.

Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Karyakram

This scheme of the Government of India is an ambitious scheme to connect the unemployed with self-employment, under which 15 to 35 percent margin money grant is given as government assistance by providing finance from banks to units with project cost up to Rs. 50.00 lakh. The scheme is being implemented by the District Industry Center in both urban and rural areas.

Eligibility conditions: To avail benefits under the scheme, the beneficiary must have passed at least 8th class, age of the beneficiary should be more than 18 years, the beneficiary or his family should not have availed benefit of subsidy under any other subsidy based scheme of State/Central Government, the beneficiary should not be a defaulter of any bank, to avail the benefits, applicants will have to apply to District Industries Centre.
