10-Days Specialized Yoga Initiative Celebrates International Day of Yoga 2025, Promoting Maternal Health and Well-being

In commemoration of the upcoming International Day of Yoga 2025, Devayaa, a society for the welfare of women and children, today announced the launch of its signature event "Yog Samavesh" – a comprehensive 10-day yoga program specifically designed for pregnant women at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.

The program, which commenced today, aligns with the vision of International Day of Yoga, established under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in 2015. This marks the 11th celebration of this global wellness movement that began a decade ago, emphasizing yoga's universal appeal and trans-formative power.

The initiative integrates traditional yoga practices with modern maternal healthcare, providing expectant mothers with holistic wellness support during pregnancy, perfectly embodying the spirit of International Day of Yoga 2025.

About the Initiative:

The program addresses the growing need for holistic maternal care while celebrating the 11th International Day of Yoga. All sessions are conducted under medical supervision to ensure complete safety for both mother and child.

 

This initiative perfectly embodies the vision of International Day of Yoga, which was established in 2015 under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, and has since become a global movement promoting health, harmony, and peace through yoga practice.

 

The programme is  supported by Central Council for Research in SIDDHA under Ministry of AYUSH  Govt of India under the visionary leadership of Honorable Minister of AYUSH Shri Prataprao Jadhav.
