Due to toxic chemicals coming out of the industrial area of ??Meghnagar, the city's tap water scheme worth more than 32 crores has failed.

Due to the recent heavy rains, toxic water containing chemicals has entered the city's wells, stepwells, hand pumps and other water sources, due to which the city council has stopped providing water to the residents of Meghnagar. There is a water crisis in the city due to no water in the taps for the last 15 days.

The responsible officers and public representatives are not paying attention to this and are relaxing in AC coolers.

The people of the city are planning a big movement again.

Due to the poisonous chemicals coming out of the industrial area of ??Meghnagar, the people of the city are crying for water.

Several animals, birds and birds have died due to the poisonous chemical-laden water. The aware people of the city have tried to wake up the responsible people by making applications and protests many times, but till date, the very serious problem of the city has not been solved.
