Demonetization accelerated the country's economy: Harivansh

Mahesh Dhoundiyal - Delhi

Demonetization brought agility to the country's economy and it became possible to send 100% of the government budget for public welfare to the deprived and afflicted sections of the society. It worked to shut down about three and a half lakh cell companies active like termites in the country and also curbed corruption. This was the way to take the country out of the negative list of the economy and make it the fifth economy of the world. After about eight years of research on this, Rajesh Jha has written a very important book "Note Badli se Demonetization: Sankalp Yatra evam Achchipiyaan ki Banayan Bharat Ke Arthik Mahashakti". Being an authentic description of the immediate, short term, medium term and long term effects of demonetization, this is a readable and collectible book, for which while congratulating Rajesh Jha, I hope that this book will set a new record of readers' liking. This was said by Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman and renowned journalist and author Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh on the occasion of the launch of the said book. The launch of this book took place in the Prime Minister Museum Library Hall on Saturday late evening. Justice Shambhunath Shrivastava addressed Mumbai based commercial journalist Rajesh Jha as the emerging “economic historian” of the country and said that when unrestrained narratives are running on uncontrolled social media in the country, you have presented an important document in the form of this book. The fast path of socio-economic justice emerged from demonetization and it also curbed terrorism. Special guest Lieutenant General Shri A.S. Rawat congratulated Rajesh Jha for boldly mentioning the impact of demonetization on India's security system and said that the statistical presentation of the impact of demonetization on various industries and businesses in his book “Note Badli Se Demonetization: Sankalp Yatra Aur Achchhiyaan to make India an economic superpower” is like a reference book on the basis of which the country's economy can be studied in future as well.

Renowned economist and All India Co-convener of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Dr. Ashwini Mahajan described the book “Note Badli Se Demonetization: Sankalp Yatra Aur Achchhiyaan to make India an economic superpower” written by Rajesh Jha as a courageous step to expose the dishonesty of the country's administrators and to mention the leaders and bureaucrats involved in destroying the country's economy and highlighted how the courageous decision of demonetization has become a factor of positive change in the country's economic and strategic conditions.

Renowned educationist Dr. JS Rajput, while describing “Note Badli Se Demonetization: Sankalp Yatra and Achievements of Making India an Economic Superpower” as an important book, said that there are very few original books in Hindi on contemporary economic topics. Rajesh Jha has infused new hope with his original research based writing.

Earlier, journalist Rajesh Jha, while introducing his book, said that it is widely publicized that about 99% currency notes came back to the banks, hence demonetization was an unnecessary step of the Modi government, but those who say so hide the fact that three-four currency notes of the same number were in circulation, that is, out of 400% currency notes, 99% currency notes returned to the banks, that is, the Indian economy got rid of 301% fake notes. Rajesh, who has been doing commercial journalism in Mumbai since 1997, told that those who were responsible for running the country's economy were eating away the economy like termites and the proof of this is that fake notes worth thousands of crores of rupees were found in the warehouses of the Reserve Bank. Modi government took a bold step and saved the country, otherwise today we would have also become a country where people are creating chaos for five kilograms of flour.

Earlier, while giving the welcome speech, Rajesh Jha started the program with Vedic chanting to establish the goal of his publishing house RJP and included the special work of honoring 102-year-old R Madhavan Pillai, a close associate of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the Azad Hind Fauj, in the flow of the event, in response to which Mr. Pillai mentioned Rajesh Jha getting the statue of martyr Sandeep Pal unveiled by his hands in Hazaribagh and said that Rajesh Jha, who is imbued with nationalist thoughts, has been like his son for the last four years, so it is necessary to respect his wish, I have come to bless him. He also sang the famous song "Kadam Kadam Milaye Ja".

He said that RJP will publish only those important books that establish strong nationalism. Their partner publisher Rashi Joshi presented a book and other gifts to all the guests.

This book launch program was attended by three secretary level bureaucrats of the Government of India, two directors of Niti Aayog, 25 professors of the Indian Economics Association and 43 advocates of the Supreme Court along with 218 postgraduate and research scholars from Chennai, Hyderabad, Jammu and Kashmir, Jamia Millia, Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru Universities.
