Gwalior. A public awareness program was organized today on World Earth Day under the theme "Our power, our planet" at Sangam Bhawan Center located at Old High Court Line by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwari Vishwa Vidyalaya and Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation.

Mainly Brahma Kumaris local center head Rajyogini BK Adarsh ??Didi, retired professor RS Verma from Agriculture College, Sai Leela Seva Sanstha founder Mrs. Neetu Gupta, motivational speaker BK Prahlad Bhai, Beenu Makrani, Jaya Lokwani were present in the program.

At the beginning of the program, BK Prahlad saluted Mother Earth on World Earth Day and wished everyone on this day. And he highlighted this year's theme "Our power our planet" and said that the earth is the main basis of life, so we all should take a pledge that we will plant as many trees as possible to keep the earth clean, beautiful and green and will play an active role in environmental protection and promotion and will keep the environment safe.

Mother Earth fulfills every minimum requirement for living. Therefore, we should always be ahead in keeping her good and clean by respecting Mother Earth.

Addressing everyone in the program, Adarsh ????Didi said that the earth is our motherland - which gave us life, food and shelter. But we have forgotten that life on earth is possible only when we maintain a balance with nature, but today it is seen that pollution is increasing, water pollution, air pollution, deforestation is happening. If all this continues like this, the time to come will be very frightening for everyone. Therefore, in time, everyone will have to change their habits together and understand their responsibility towards the environment. Also, the use of single-use plastic will have to be stopped.

We should develop the habit of saying 'no' to plastic, this will be a great step towards saving the earth.

In the program, Prof. R.S. Verma said that we should plant as many trees as possible on empty land, and also use less chemical fertilizers in our agricultural land and use more organic fertilizers so that the fertility power remains and the land is saved from getting spoiled.

In the program, Neetu Gupta shared her experience of working in the environmental field and said that every person should cooperate in environmental work, protect the trees and plants around them, arrange for water and food for animals and birds, do not use polythene. Along with single user polythene, wrappers of many things which are polluting the environment should be filled in bottles and kept in bricks.

In the program, Beenu Makrani and Jaya Lokwani also expressed their views in the field of environmental protection.

On this occasion, Advocate Jitendra Simrodia, Anushka Sanjay Khatri, Narayan Chaurasia, Kanhaiyalal, Suresh, Santosh Bansal, Kanchan, Radha Sharma, Rita Midha, Saraswati, Vimal Jaiswal, Jawahar and many others were present.
