The city of dreams witnessed a night filled with cultural glory, cinematic brilliance and iconic excellence, when the Punjabi Cultural Heritage Board, under the visionary leadership of Shri Charan Singh Sapra, hosted “Baisakhi Ki Raat – Punjabi Icon Awards 2025” in Mumbai – an evening that was as spectacular as the spirit of Punjab itself! Presented by G.S. Bawa / G.N. Khalsa College, this year’s edition of Baisakhi Ki Raat was a spectacular tribute to Punjabi excellence across industries, celebrating the pioneers who have uplifted and inspired the community.

Punjabi Icon Awards 2025 honoured some of the most notable names in the field of entertainment, leadership and business: Bobby Deol – for his lasting contribution to Indian cinema and his resurgence as a powerhouse performer, Raveena Tandon – honoured as a timeless diva and cinematic icon, Angad Bedi – for his dynamic presence and versatility in entertainment, Omkar Singh – recognised as a visionary leader shaping progressive change, Sandeep Batra – acknowledged for his excellence and influence as a corporate trailblazer

Veteran actor and political stalwart Raj Babbar, handsome actress Geeta Basra, the ever versatile Sushant Singh, action hero Mukesh Rishi, legendary musician Anu Malik, comedy queen Upasana Singh, hitmaker and music sensation Ramji Gulati, beloved television stars Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra and many other renowned personalities graced the occasion.

The evening was capped off by a brilliant performance by the flamboyant and eloquent Satinder Satti, who exuded Punjabi pride and poise on stage. The energy of the audience reached a crescendo when Bollywood’s sultry singer Afsana Khan gave a powerful live performance.
