Keeping women safety in mind, Pink Booth was inaugurated in Sarafa Bazar located in Thana Kotwali area

Giving priority to the safety of women in Gwalior district, on the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamveer Singh (Bapuse), the first pink booth of the district has been established today on 20.04.2025 in Sarafa Bazar located in Thana Kotwali area. The pink booth established in Sarafa Bazar was inaugurated today on 20 April 2025 by Additional SP Mrs. Suman Gurjar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Central) Mrs. Suman Gurjar, Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Mr. Gajendra Singh Vardhman and DSP Women Safety Mrs. Kiran Ahirwar, in collaboration with Association of Gwalior Youth Society, Kotwali Police inaugurated the first Mahila Sahayata Pink Booth of the district in Sarafa Bazar by Additional SP Mrs. Suman Gurjar by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp in the temple.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the pink booth, Additional SP Mrs. Suman Gurjar welcomed the female constables Anju Sharma and Shashi Singh posted in the pink booth by garlanding them. On this occasion, she said that a large number of women visit Maharaj Bada, Sarafa Bazaar, therefore, keeping their safety in mind, the pink booth has been started so that women can easily tell their problems to the female officers, so that their problems can be resolved quickly. On this occasion, Police Station Incharge Kotwali Uni Mohini Verma said that in this pink booth, the complaints of women will be heard on priority and female constables will always be present from morning to late night to listen to their complaints. A CUG number has also been displayed in the pink booth on which women or girls can call for help.

At the inauguration of the Pink Booth Chowki, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Gajendra Singh Vardhaman, DSP Women Security Mrs. Kiran Ahirwar, Women Police Station In-charge Mrs. Deepti Tomar, Ajak Police Station In-charge Mrs. Anita Gurjar, all women desk in-charges, Mr. Purushottam Jain (President Gold and Silver Business Association), Suresh Gupta (Social Worker), Madhav Agarwal, Vishal Jain, Dheeraj Goyal, Narottam Rainwal etc. were present.
