The festival of Jesus' resurrection was celebrated with devotional prayers by the people of the Catholic community in Saint Arnold Church of Meghnagar. The chief preacher, Vicar General of Catholic Diocese Jhabua, Father Thomas P.A., told the entire community in his sermon about the resurrection of Lord Jesus that this year when we are celebrating the festival of the glorious resurrection of the Lord, we are reminded that Easter is not just a festival of joy, but a call - a call for change.

Christ's victory over sin and death invites us to rise above the darkness of fear, despair and division and be inspired to become children of light and to differentiate the life after Jesus' suffering from his earlier life. The Catholic community has celebrated the Lent period from Ash Wednesday to Good Friday. We observed abstinence and fasting in society. Lord Jesus came to this earth as a human being to give us new teachings, those teachings are neighborly love, brotherhood, good conduct, equality, service; by adopting all these virtues, we should not repeat all our old mistakes.
