Additional Director General of Police Special Armed Forces Madhya Pradesh Police Headquarters Bhopal Shri Chanchal Shekhar visited the 2nd Battalion, 13th Battalion and 14th Battalion of SAF located in Gwalior on 18.4.2025. He visited Disha Learning Center Band Office, Fighter Office in 2nd Battalion and Disha Learning Center and Fighter Office of 14th Battalion and visited Disha Learning Center, Office and Training Center of 13th Battalion and discussed Disha Learning Centers with Inspector General of Police SAF Shri Arvind Saxena and Commandants of Battalions. ADG Shri Chanchal Shekhar talked to the children of police families studying there and gave necessary tips to succeed in competitive examinations and directed to provide them modern facilities and praised the innovation in 14th Battalion in maintenance of records in battalion offices and congratulated all the soldiers. He directed that all of you should innovate and the remote duty companies of the battalions, TA Bill, P HPS scheme, e-office, innovation, employees who are always away from the battalion headquarters should be given equal opportunity and posted on duty nearby, promotion of soldiers, on the lines of the public hearing being done at the headquarters, the soldiers should solve the problems of the soldiers by conducting a public hearing and discussed the benefits of welfare schemes etc. After this, a joint Sainik Sammelan of the three battalions was organized in the community hall of the second battalion in which Inspector General of Police Mr. Arvind Saxena and the battalion commandant Mr. Rakesh Sagar from the second battalion, Mr. Shailendra Singh Chauhan from 13 battalion, Doctor Shivdayal from 14 battalion and Mr. Ashutosh Bagri from 17 battalion were present. About 300 officers and soldiers present in the Sainik Sammelan informed the ADG about their collective problems, personal problems and other suggestions and they were resolved appropriately by him.

In his address, ADG Shri Chanchal Shekhar praised the dedicated working style of the SAF in the past and asked everyone to stay healthy and discharge their responsibilities with full dedication. Referring to the public hearing being conducted at the Headquarters, he said that the soldiers will regularly resolve the problems of the soldiers at the corps level.

In his welcome address, Inspector General of Police, Zone Gwalior and Bis Force, Shri Arvind Saxena welcomed ADG Shri Chanchal Shekhar and threw light on the utility of Sainik Sammelan. At the end of the program, a memento was presented to the chief guest Shri Chanchal Shekhar and the program concluded with the national anthem.
