While addressing the Muslim community, Basant Tyagi said that Waqf reform is only for the benefit of the poor, backward and women of the Muslim community. He said that through this, the real property of Waqf will benefit the people of their own society, he told that public utility works like good schools, hospitals etc. for children should also be done from the properties of Waqf so that it also contributes to the development of society and the country.

District President Mahesh Chauhan while addressing the Muslims said that by curbing the unlimited powers of Waqf, the corruption prevailing in Waqf will also reduce and it can be properly used for the development of Muslims. He also urged the public to spread awareness on this issue and to be cautious of the corrupt contractors of the Muslim community. He said that these people have benefited only a few of their people by distributing the properties of Waqf and kept the entire Muslim community away from the mainstream of development so that they can use them as vote bank from time to time. He said that now the true Muslims of the country are waking up and are also joining the mainstream of the country's development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
