Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria did Shramdaan in Thikriya pond under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan

The Jal Chaupal program organized under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan at Thikriya pond of Gram Panchayat Kardawad of Petlawad district was inaugurated by Chief Guest Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development Madhya Pradesh Government Ms. Nirmala Bhuria by lighting a lamp on the picture of Maa Saraswati. Addressing this program of Jal Chaupal, Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria said that at present there is a shortage of water in the drinking water source due to the water level going down considerably. Due to the gift of Mahi Dam to Petlawad region due to the tireless efforts of late Dilip Singh Bhuria, today Petlawad has started having abundant agriculture like Haryana, Punjab. Farmers have been taking water from many old ponds of the area for irrigation of their crops, due to which the water in the pond is currently running out. In such a situation, all the farmers should take out the black soil from the ponds with public participation in this Jal Ganga Samarthan Abhiyan and take it to their respective fields, which will increase the fertility of their fields, there will be no need for chemical fertilizers like urea DAP. He appealed to all the villagers present that everyone should come forward in this important campaign of the government and participate in the work of cleaning all types of water sources and water conservation so that the coming generation can be saved from the current water crisis. After the Jal Chaupal program, a large Kalash Yatra of about 100 girls was taken out with drums and mandal. At the conclusion of the Kalash Yatra, Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Thikriya pond deepening work and donated her labour.

Public representative Ramesh Solanki informed the villagers present that in the ongoing water conservation campaign of the government, to correct the groundwater level, recharge your own water sources and do the work of farm ponds etc. so that the expected improvement in the water level can be done. Sub-divisional officer revenue Petlawad Tanushree Meena appealed to the villagers present that they should make this important campaign of the government successful by participating in various water conservation works being done by the gram panchayats. Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Dixit gave a detailed account of various types of water conservation works going on in all the panchayats of the district area under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan.

Public representative Ramesh Solanki, Sub-divisional Officer Revenue Petlawad Tanushree Meena, Tehsildar Hukum Singh Nigwal, Sanjay Kahar and Sukhram Mori and Krishnapal Singh and officers and employees of various departments and villagers participated in the Shramdaan program.
