Today a group of journalists met DDCA Secretary Ashok Sharma and informed him about the problems being faced by Delhi journalists during IPL.

The journalists told Ashok Sharma that the cards of some agencies and journalists have not been made on time in IPL. Regarding which they have been continuously requesting the local media officials but no journalist's card has been made. Due to this many journalists could not even cover IPL for their newspapers. It is known that now only two matches are left in Delhi, one match is to be played on Tuesday i.e. 29 April and one on 11 May.

Apart from this, the journalists told what kind of problems the journalists are facing. It is often seen that during the match, outsiders also go inside and sit in the press box. Due to which the working journalists have to face problems. To stop this ruckus, the officials related to media of DDCA were informed many times, but no solution could be found.

Similarly, cards were made for some media personnel who have nothing to do with sports, due to which the cards of sports journalists could not be made. The journalists also told that some journalists had to cover matches outside Delhi. But due to their cards not reaching the capital, they could not cover any match.

During this, after listening to all the journalists, Secretary Ashok Sharma assured that this will not happen again. He also called his officer Arun Khuran, who looks after the journalists of DCA, in front of the media and talked about solving their problems soon. He said that wherever there is a deficiency, it will be removed. Ashok Sharma assured the journalists that next time while making the cards, the help of local journalists will also be taken. After asking them, the cards of sports journalists will be finalized.

In the group of journalists who met him, a large number of journalists including senior journalists Rakesh Thapliyal, Vijay Kumar, Prabhat Kumar, Shubham, Ravish Bisht were present.
