Three-day training in Gwalior: Police officers will get training on effective implementation of new Criminal Act 2023

Under the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on the orders of Police Headquarters Bhopal in Gwalior district, a three-day training was started for the effective implementation of the new Criminal Act 2023 under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamveer Singh. This training was organized at Bal Bhavan Auditorium Gwalior from 28 April, in which about 200 investigators from constable to inspector level participated.

This training session was inaugurated by Inspector General of Police Gwalior Zone Shri Arvind Saxena and Deputy Inspector General of Police Gwalior Range Shri Amit Sanghi by garlanding the statue of Maa Saraswati and lighting a lamp. On this occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Gajendra Singh Vardhman and Shri Niranjan Sharma welcomed the senior officers.

Inspector General of Police Shri Arvind Saxena said in his address that this training is more important than the previous trainings, because it is being monitored by the MP Government. He emphasized on the in-depth understanding and effective implementation of the new Act by the investigators. At the same time, Deputy Inspector General of Police Shri Amit Sanghi also discussed about the effective implementation of new laws and advised the investigators to take advantage of the training.

In the first session of the training, information related to e-FIR and Zero FIR on CCTNS was given, while in the second session, detailed information was provided on inspection of the incident site, evidence collection and the role of FSL. This three-day training will run till April 30 and its objective is to make police officers aware of the new Criminal Act 2023.
