Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Thandla imposed fine on vendors who did not do 75% KYC even after notice

Bureau Chief Rahim Sherani Hindustani - Jhabua

Under the guidance of Collector Neha Meena, e-KYC of PDS consumers in the district is to be completed by 30 April 2025. 82% KYC has been completed in Thandla block. Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Thandla Mr. Tarun Jain had given instructions to bring the expected progress by organizing camps in every village and faliya faliya in this mega campaign of e-KYC.

During the mid-term review of the campaign, a notice letter was issued on 17 April 2025 against the vendors who did less than 75% e-KYC and clarification was sought along with the progress, but no clarification was given by the vendors regarding the low KYC. When the expected progress was not made, the Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Thandla again reviewed it on 23 April 2025, in which a fine of ? 2000-2000 has been imposed on the sellers of fair price shops Daulatpura, Palashdor, Bherugarh, Bihar, Kaldela, Hedawa, Munjal, Goriyakhandan, Chhayan and Choti Dhamani who have done less than 75% KYC. In future, action will be taken to suspend / remove the shop of such sellers who do not do KYC for 5 consecutive days and whose KYC percentage is less than 90% and instructions were given to complete 100% e-KYC by 30 April 2025.
