New Delhi, on the occasion of Bhagwan Mahavir Prakatyotsav, the founder of Jainism, the All India Hindu Mahasabha resolved to make India the world leader by assimilating the path and teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir. Hindu Mahasabha's National President Ravindra Kumar Dwivedi said that Bhagwan Mahavir's message of truth, non-violence and self-restraint fosters the concept of live and let live. This message of Bhagwan Mahavir is exemplary and useful for the entire human race of the world. Bhagwan Mahavir's messages pave the way for the right to live and welfare of not only the human race, but all the creatures of the universe.

Hindu Mahasabha's National President Ravindra Kumar Dwivedi said on Bhagwan Mahavir Prakatyotsav that the human race has strayed from the ideals of Bhagwan Mahavir. This is the reason that all nations are facing the horror of war to establish their supremacy. To avoid the horrors of war, returning to the ideals of Lord Mahavira is the greatest need of the hour. He said that the ideals and messages of Lord Mahavira are timeless and will continue to inspire mankind with truth, non-violence and self-restraint as long as life exists on earth. This information was given by Hindu Mahasabha's national spokesperson BN Tiwari in a statement issued today.

BN Tiwari said that Lord Mahavira established Jainism for the welfare of mankind. Jain society and its religion are an inseparable part and pride of Sanatan Dharma. Throwing light on the life of Lord Mahavira, he said that he was born in Vaishali in 599 BC to King Siddhartha and Queen Trishala. He was named Vardhaman. At the young age of 30, Vardhaman abandoned worldly life and started meditation to attain self-realization. After 12 years of hard penance, he attained supreme divine self-realization and Vardhaman earned fame by the name of Mahavira (great hero). After attaining divine self-knowledge, Lord Mahavira dedicated his entire life to the service and welfare of mankind and the entire animal world. In 527 BC, Lord Mahavira attained salvation at the age of 72 and became immortal forever with his teachings and ideals.

BN Tiwari, while paying homage to Lord Mahavira, said that only by following the ideals of Lord Mahavira, India can lead the world in saving the world from the horrors of war. By adopting the ideals of Lord Mahavira, India can be made Vishwa Guru.
