SIGMA SUMMIT 2025: Charting India’s Green Future Through CBG and Entrepreneurship

The SIGMA SUMMIT 2025, held at the Constitution Club of India, concluded with resounding success, uniting over 200 entrepreneurs, industry experts, innovators, and government stakeholders to accelerate India’s energy transition through Compressed Biogas (CBG). Centered around the theme “Net Zero 2070: Harnessing Growth with CBG,” the summit emerged as a dynamic platform for clean energy innovation, business growth, and green entrepreneurship.

The event featured six high-impact knowledge sessions, with over 26 distinguished speakers from across India, covering a wide range of topics including CBG infrastructure, bio-fertilizer value chains, carbon credits, ESG finance, government policy, and greenfield investments. Attendees explored practical insights and strategies, connecting with decision-makers, startup founders, and thought leaders to shape the future of India’s clean energy economy.

The summit was proudly supported by four leading sponsors: KEC Agritech Pvt. Ltd., CBG Park, KEC Biofuel, and Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL).

As the Chief Guest, Mr. S.P. Mohanty, Managing Director of HURL, set the tone of the summit in his keynote, stating:
“I believe SIGMA SUMMIT 2025 will be a pivotal moment in India’s clean energy journey. By focusing on Compressed Bio Gas (CBG), this summit catalyzes innovative solutions that promote energy security and environmental responsibility. Through active collaboration between industry and policymakers, we can accelerate the adoption of CBG to achieve our Net Zero 2070 goal. HURL is proud to be part of this national effort.”

Mr. Jitendra Narayan, Founder of KEC Agritech Pvt. Ltd., echoed this vision, adding:
“The only way forward is through BioGas. At KEC, we’re building a nation-wide network of CBG Parks to empower farmers, MSMEs, and entrepreneurs with clean fuel, organic inputs, and new income opportunities. These parks are not just energy hubs—they are engines for green prosperity and inclusive growth.”

A key highlight was CBG Park, one of India’s first dedicated CBG development platforms. With a focus on building scalable CBG infrastructure, CBG Park offers land procurement, raw feed aggregation, technology transfer, EPC/PMC services, common utilities, CBG filling stations, training centres, and carbon credit facilitation. Their mission is to make CBG commercially viable and accessible across urban and rural India.

The event also celebrated excellence through the SIGMA Green Leadership Awards 2025, recognizing outstanding contributions in 10 categories such as CBG infrastructure, carbon finance, sustainable agriculture, and bio-fertilizer innovation.

SIGMA SUMMIT 2025 reaffirmed its role as a catalyst for India’s clean energy mission—where policy meets innovation, and green entrepreneurship powers the path to Net Zero.
