Investment and mutual cooperation opportunities discussed between Deputy Chief of Mission and Uttarakhand Resident Commissioner at UAE Embassy

Deputy Chief of Mission at UAE (United Arab Emirates) Embassy Mr. Majid Alnekhelavi met Uttarakhand Resident Commissioner Mr. Ajay Mishra at Uttarakhand Niwas in New Delhi on Tuesday. In this meeting, discussions were held on potential areas of investment between Uttarakhand and UAE.

Resident Commissioner Mr. Ajay Mishra told Mr. Majid Alnekhelavi that after the successful organization of Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023, the state has emerged as a new investment destination. Better law and order, robust infrastructure, convenient road connectivity and favorable policy environment in the state of Uttarakhand have earned the trust of investors from the country and abroad.

Mr. Ajay Mishra informed Mr. Majid Alnekhelavi about the possibilities of mutual cooperation for potential investment and employment areas in Uttarakhand, such as alternative energy, renewable energy, knowledge city etc. Giving information about important corridor projects in the state, he said that there are immense possibilities for investment in corridor projects in Uttarakhand.

On this occasion, a short film based on tourism, wellness, biotechnology, food processing, renewable energy, road connectivity and infrastructure development in the state of Uttarakhand, local production by women's group was also presented.
