On the occasion of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti, BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda paid floral tributes at the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar at the Ambedkar Memorial located on Alipur Road.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, BJP National General Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh, Union Ministers Virendra Kumar and B. L. Verma, along with MP Yogendra Chandolia and several other BJP leaders, also paid floral tributes to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and remembered him with reverence.

New Delhi, April 14: As part of the 134th birth anniversary celebrations of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Delhi BJP organized events across all 256 Mandals in the capital. On this occasion, BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda paid floral tribute at the statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar at the Ambedkar Memorial on Alipur Road.

Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, BJP National General Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh, Union Ministers Shri Virendra Kumar and Shri B. L. Verma, MP Shri Yogendra Chandolia, and BJP National Media Co-Coordinator Shri Sanjay Mayukh also paid their tributes at the statue of Baba Saheb.

Also present at the event were Delhi BJP SC Morcha President Shri Mohan Lal Gihara, Mahila Morcha President Smt. Richa Pandey Mishra, Yuva Morcha President Shri Sagar Tyagi, and hundreds of BJP workers.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda also visited the exhibition at the Ambedkar Memorial, which showcases the life and contributions of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Later, BJP leaders also paid their respects at the statue of Lord Gautam Buddha.

In his message, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said that Baba Saheb played a significant role in uplifting the weaker and backward sections of society and in eradicating social evils.

He stated that the life of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, who was dedicated to social harmony, unity, and human rights, continues to inspire us all.

In other Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations held today, Union Minister of State Shri Harsh Malhotra paid floral tributes at Dr. Ambedkar’s statue in Ambedkar Park, Jwala Nagar.

Additionally, MP Ms. Bansuri Swaraj paid floral tributes at Baba Saheb’s statue in Dr. Ambedkar Park, Rajendra Nagar, and flagged off two free medical vans dedicated to the people of the New Delhi parliamentary constituency.

State General Secretary Shri Vishnu Mittal participated in an event held in Shahdara district and paid floral tribute at the statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.
