Big action of Dabra city police: Three vicious battery thieves caught, stolen goods worth Rs 3 lakh recovered

Dabra city police has achieved a major success by cracking down on the increasing incidents of theft in Gwalior district. The police team, led by station in-charge inspector Yashwant Goyal, nabbed three vicious thieves, from whose possession 30 stolen batteries, 5 motors, 5 controllers and a car worth about Rs 3 lakh have been recovered.

The miscreants were standing in ambush with the intention of theft. The police had received information from the informer that three suspicious youths were standing near the IPS School on Bijpur Highway in an attempt to commit a crime. Taking immediate action, the police team reached the spot and surrounded and caught all three. During interrogation, the accused confessed to committing several thefts in Dabra city, Dabra countryside, Billua and Gwalior city.

The car was made a stolen vehicle. The thieves gang used the car to carry the stolen batteries. When strictly questioned by the police, they gave information about a large consignment of stolen goods. The entire stolen goods were recovered on the information given by the accused.

Arrested accused:

Aashiq Khan son of Waheed Khan

Amir Khan son of Liyaqat Khan

Ankesh Baghel son of Mukesh Baghel

All three accused are residents of Dabra district Gwalior.

Recovered material:

30 stolen togtam batteries

5 motors, 5 controllers

One car used in the theft

Total estimated cost – about ?3,00,000

Excellent team work of the police The contribution of the team of Dabra city police station in this success was highly commendable. Police personnel who made a special contribution in the action: PR Ramvaran Singh Lodhi, R. Avinash Patsaria, Vinod Rawat, Mintu Parihar, Shivam Pal, Gaurav Yadav, Arvind Yadav, Satyam Singh, Dhirendra Sharma, Sainik Ranveer Singh, big success under the direction and supervision of senior officers, the gang was exposed under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Dharamveer Singh (IPS), Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Niranjan Sharma and SDOP Dabra Jitendra Nagaich. It is clear from this action that Gwalior Police is in no mood to spare the criminals under any circumstances.

Overall, this action of Dabra city police is not only going to break the morale of the criminals, but is also proving to strengthen the confidence of security among the common people.
