Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva Unveils Statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at His Birthplace Kali Masjid in the Presence of BJP National General Secretaries Tarun Chugh and Dushyant Gautam

New Delhi, April 13 : On the eve of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva unveiled a statue of Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar today in his birthplace area — Kali Masjid DDA Flats (Sitaram Bazar Ward). The statue was installed by the Resident Welfare Association, in the presence of BJP National General Secretaries Mr. Tarun Chugh and Mr. Dushyant Kumar Gautam.

On this occasion, Association President Mr. Naresh Kumar, former MLA Mr. Rajkumar Anand, former Councillor Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Delhi BJP Co-Office Secretary Mr. Amit Gupta, and other office bearers and local party workers were present.

Mr. Tarun Chugh and Mr. Dushyant Gautam reminded the gathering of Babasaheb’s thoughts and contributions, urging everyone to carry forward his ideals. They said that remembering Babasaheb awakens social consciousness within us.

Mr. Sachdeva met with local residents, discussed local issues, and visited his ancestral home where he was born, spending time reminiscing about his early days.

On this occasion, Mr. Virendra Sachdeva stated that as a political worker, it is a matter of great fortune for him to unveil the statue of such a great personality—who symbolizes social justice and unity—at his own birthplace.

Mr. Sachdeva said that Dr. Ambedkar was not just the architect of the Constitution, but also a symbol of social justice, equality, and dignity. “This statue will always remind us that the foundation of a better and inclusive society is laid through noble thoughts and persistent struggle. We are committed to walking the path he has shown. This initiative is not just a tribute, but also an effort to give society a new direction—where every individual receives equal opportunity and respect.”
