The world's largest Bhojpuri conference is organized at Dada Dev Mela Ground in Dwarka.

Well-known personalities of the country will participate in the Bhojpuri conference.   

New Delhi; Bhojpuri is a very sweet language of international importance spoken by about 25 crore people in 16 countries of the world. Bhojpuri literature is very rich. Bhojpuri is being taught in many universities. But unfortunately, Bhojpuri has not been able to get its real rights till now. To get it constitutional recognition and to make the specialty of Bhojpuri reach the people, Purvanchal Ekta Manch is going to organize (World Bhojpuri Conference). Many distinguished guests from India and abroad associated with Bhojpuri will participate in this two-day conference. It will be organized in Dada Dev Mela Ground Sector 8 of Dwarka. Shivji Singh, President of Purvanchal Ekta Manch, the organizer of the event, said that it should be known that the 'Sitakant Mahapatra Committee' constituted by the Government of India had also given its recommendation for constitutional recognition to Bhojpuri. Despite the continuous demand of crores of Bhojpuri speakers, Bhojpuri language has not been included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution till date. A high level committee of the Central Government has recommended not to include Bhojpuri in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. That is, they have refused to give them the status of official language. The previous government had formed a high level committee under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary B.K. Prasad in the Home Ministry to investigate these demands. It included senior officers from the Home Ministry, Cultural Ministry, HRD, Law Ministry, Sahitya Akademi, Official Language Department and Central Institute of Indian Languages ??and Registrar General of India. In its report submitted to the Home Ministry last month, this committee did not consider the process and criteria for including 22 languages ??in the Eighth Schedule to be correct. The committee also said that the inclusion of these languages ??will affect the development of Hindi.

Now the time has come to fight a do-or-die battle to include Bhojpuri language in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. For this purpose, Purvanchal Ekta Manch has decided to organize a World Bhojpuri Conference on 12th and 13th April, 2025, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm, in which scholars, writers, artists from India and abroad associated with Bhojpuri language, literature and culture and Bhojpuri music and cinema are participating.    

  On this occasion, National Convenor of Purvanchal Ekta Manch Mukesh Singh said that the program will be inaugurated by former Union Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad along with Shri Ashwini Choubey, Shri Virendra Singh Mast and many MPs and distinguished dignitaries. On the first day, there will be a literary seminar, kavi sammelan and cultural program in which artists like Dinesh Lal Yadav, Munna Singh, Kalpana Patwari will participate. The cultural program will be held in the presence of MP Shri Manoj Tiwari, Union Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi and Cabinet Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh. The second day of the program will be inaugurated by Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, Cabinet Minister Shri Kapil Mishra and MP Smt. Hema Malini. In the program, traditional Chaita, Bhojpuri cinema will be specially honored by Bhojpuri stars Shri Kunal Singh, Shri Ravi Kishan and Shri Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua).
