It is unfortunate that instead of reducing tensions, Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi President Saurabh Bhardwaj, through his social media statements, is trying to create unrest in Chittaranjan Park – Virendra Sachdeva

I have asked the Delhi Police Commissioner to investigate the motive behind Trinamool MP Ms. Mahua Moitra editing and posting an over two-week-old sensitive video on social media platform X – Virendra Sachdeva.

Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva has stated that it is unfortunate that Trinamool Congress leader Ms. Mahua Moitra is continuously misusing social media in an attempt to create tension in Chittaranjan Park.

On the evening of Tuesday, April 8, MP Ms. Mahua Moitra tried to stir unrest in Chittaranjan Park by twisting and reposting on social media platform X an old video of two unidentified boys at the fish market. However, the local police and BJP workers managed the situation and prevented any tension.

The Delhi BJP President said that the party held a press conference both the night before and yesterday, offering full support to the traders of Chittaranjan Park’s fish market. The traders also made it clear that they will not be intimidated by the threats of these young men.

Mr. Virendra Sachdeva stated that by yesterday evening, the matter in Chittaranjan Park appeared to have settled down. However, it is unfortunate that today, the Trinamool Congress tried to escalate the tension again by getting one of their supporter journalists, Tamal Shah, to post an interview on social media platform X with the youths related to the video.

Trinamool Congress leaders and their supporter journalists are deliberately trying to blow up a minor incident into a major issue and portray it as a clash between North Indian and Bengali cultures to stir unrest.

The Delhi BJP President said it is regrettable that AAP Delhi President Saurabh Bhardwaj, who recently lost the Assembly election from Greater Kailash, is trying to create tension in Chittaranjan Park through his social media remarks instead of working to ease the situation.

He has requested the Delhi Police Commissioner to investigate the motive behind MP Ms. Mahua Moitra editing and posting an old and sensitive video on social media platform X.

Mr. Virendra Sachdeva said the collusion between Trinamool Congress and Aam Aadmi Party leaders with these anonymous youths is clearly visible, and the BJP demands that the Delhi Police immediately arrest the youths responsible for making the video and conduct a high-level inquiry into the matter.
