Mandi sub inspector caught taking bribe of 15 thousand

Gwalior Lokayukta police has just caught sub inspector Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti Ashok Nagar red handed taking bribe of 15 thousand from the staff room of Mandi Ishagarh. The sub inspector was taking this bribe amount in lieu of providing Mandi license for grain business. Lokayukta police is taking action against the accused.

SP Lokayukta Rajesh Mishra said that Gwalior Lokayukta police took a big action on Wednesday afternoon and caught sub inspector Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti Ashok Nagar Mahendra Kaneria taking bribe of 15 thousand. Superintendent of Police said that applicant Bhupendra Narayan Dwivedi resident Ishagarh had complained that Mahendra Kaneria Assistant Mandi Sub Inspector Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti District Ashok Nagar has demanded bribe of 20 thousand from the applicant in lieu of providing Mandi license for grain business in the name of his wife. After negotiations the deal was struck for 15 thousand. On Wednesday as soon as Bhupendra gave the bribe amount of 15 thousand to the accused Kaneria in the staff room of Mandi Ishagarh, the Lokayukta team caught him red handed. The bribe amount has also been recovered from the pant pocket of the accused. Police is taking action against the accused under the PC Act. The trap team included Inspector Kavindra Singh, Brijmohan Narwariya, Balram Singh Rajawat, Head Constable Hemant Sharma, Netram Rajoria, Surendra Semil, Prashant Rajawat, Dheeraj Nayak, Vinod Shakya.
