In Jhabua Ranapur Meghnagar Thandla, Muharram was celebrated with great pomp and show from 9th and 10th of Muharram.

In Thandla, on the 9th, Alam's procession was taken out from Peer Saheb Gali.

On the 10th of Muharram, Ashura was celebrated on the martyrdom of Imam Hasan Hussain.

Fasts were also kept by the followers of Muslim religion.

In Thandla Gausia Jama Masjid, Maulana Ismail Qadri Sahib taught Ashura's Namaz and Ashura and the mention of Imam Hussain was done and Maulana Sahib prayed a lot in the name of Imam Hussain. He prayed for peace in India, comfort, peace and brotherhood, everyone should be healthy and no disease should occur in India. After that, after Zohar's Namaz, the government Tazia was taken out from Gausia Jama Masjid. All the people who had made a wish fulfilled their wish. After that, the procession of Muharram came back to Gandhi Chowk via Gandhi Chowk Post Office. An example of Hindu Muslim unity was seen. Everyone was putting their small child in the bag of Imam Hussain. It is believed that the child who is sick for a long time and cries day and night, is put in the bag of Imam Hussain. Imam Hussain protects those children. People of every society were putting their children in their bags and small children were passing under the Moharram. Children who are not interested in studies and children who are giving exams are protected by Imam Hussain himself.

Imam Hussain did not come as the leader of everyone, he was the leader of the whole world. His grandfather Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa Sallallahu Tala Alehi Wasallam blessed him so much that today the martyrdom of Imam Hussain is remembered all over the world.

Hussaini Akhara was also taken out under the leadership of Bhuru Ustad wrestler who showed amazing feats one after the other. Haji Abid Hussain's Moharram was attended by Peer Saheb Gali Bharat Band Badnagar people who presented one better than the other Kalam on the martyrdom of Imam Hussain. Thandla MLA Veer Singh Bhuria also participated; MLA Veer Singh Bhuria visited all the Moharrams and offered coconuts at all the Moharrams. Like every year, this year too the Hindu brothers observed the Moharram of Mannat and took out a procession with great pomp and show and presented a poem on the martyrdom of Imam Hussain that from where will I get a son like Hussain. Hindu Muslim unity was visible on this occasion.
