Southern Range Crime Branch Recovers Two Missing/Kidnapped Individuals in Swift Operations.

In a remarkable display of swift action, professional acumen, and committed policing, the Southern Range Crime Branch of Delhi Police has successfully traced and recovered two missing/kidnapped individuals in separate cases, reinforcing its dedication to public safety.

Team and Operation
Under the leadership of Inspector Vijay Pal Dahiya and overall supervision of ACP Girish Kaushik, a specialized team comprising HC Sonveer, W/Ct Renu, W/Ct Arti, and W/Ct Mamta was constituted to tackle the rising concern of missing and kidnapped persons. Demonstrating exceptional coordination and field intelligence, the team tracked down both individuals from different parts of Delhi-NCR.

Case 1: Minor Boy (Age 15) Recovered – PS Ambedkar Nagar
On July 1, 2025, a case of kidnapping of a 15-year-old boy was registered at PS Ambedkar Nagar. Launching an immediate investigation, the Southern Range team located the boy at a hotel in Dariyaganj. It was revealed that the boy had left home voluntarily with dreams of becoming an actor. Unable to proceed to Mumbai due to financial limitations, he remained stranded in Delhi. The team's prompt and empathetic intervention ensured his safe return home.

Case 2: 19-Year-Old Girl Traced – PS Mukherjee Nagar
In another significant breakthrough, the team traced a 19-year-old girl who had been reported missing from PS Mukherjee Nagar since April 21, 2025. Acting on credible leads, she was found in Noida. The investigation indicated that she had left home with the intention of getting married. A reward of ?20,000/- had been announced for her recovery. Through persistent effort and strategic groundwork, the team brought her back safely to her family.
