ONE KNIFER WAS ARRESTED WITH THE ILLEGAL BUTTONDAR KNIFE BY THE STAFF OF PS PIA

In a successful operation, the staff of PS Patparganj Industrial Area, East District, Delhi apprehended a knifer.
Recovered an illegal buttondar knife from his possession.
Accused disclosed that he was planning to commit theft or snatching using the knife.

INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION: -

On 28.03.2025, Ct. Satender was performing area bike patrolling duty to prevent criminal activity. At around 00.10 AM, when he reached Out Gate, ISBT Anand Vihar, he noticed a boy standing among passengers in suspicious condition. On seeing police personnel, he got scared and started running toward the Railway flyover, Dilshad Garden in lieu of escape but Ct. Satender showed alertness and apprehended him after a brief chase. When he enquired about the reason for escaping after seeing the police, he was unable to give a justified answer. The cursory search of the boy led to the recovery of the button-operated knife from his possession.

During the enquiry, the accused disclosed his identity as Raja @ Talib R/o Shalimar Garden Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP Age 24 years. A case vides FIR No. 226/25 dated 28.03.25 U/s 25 Arms Act P.S. PIA has been registered.

The accused person Raja @ Talib S/o Noor Mohd. disclosed during interrogation that, he was present near ISBT Anand Vihar to commit theft/snatching on the point of a knife, but the active patrolling of staff prevented any further untoward action. Further Investigation of the case is in progress.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON: -

Raja @ Talib R/o Shalimar Garden Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP Age 24 years disclosed that he resides with his family at the mentioned address. He is illiterate and used to sell vegetables on a cart in the local area. He is married and has a girl child in his family. He is addicted to taking Smack, Drugs, and liquor.

Raja @ Talib has involved in total 10 criminal cases in various Police Stations of Delhi.
