Successful organization of street play 'Digital Arrest' at Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior

A street play - Digital Arrest was organized at Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior. The objective of this program was to spread awareness on the topic of 'Digital Arrest' and to spread awareness about online fraud and cyber crime.

The Director of the Institute, Dr. Nishant Joshi said that digital arrest is a cyber crime committed in the present situation, which is done to the common people by creating fake identities of government officials or government agencies like state police, CBI. In this regard, the Digital Arrest street play has proved to be a milestone in spreading awareness among the general public. The institute organizes many such programs to spread awareness.

The co-director of the institute, Dr. Tarika Singh said that cyber scams are being done in many ways. It is necessary to organize such programs in the institute to spread awareness and prevent scams like phishing scam, lottery and prize scam, job scam, investment scam, credit card scam.

Through the street play, it was shown how thugs, posing as fake police, scare people and try to extort their money so that the audience remains alert and can protect themselves from cyber crime. More than 150 audience attended this street play and understood the purpose of the entire play and appreciated it.

Geetanjali Vishwakarma, Marketing Officer- Punjab National Bank, was present as the chief guest in the program. The coordinator of this program was Assistant Professor Sugandha Muduli and this program was completed with the help of Harsh Sisodia, Isha Arora, Akanksha Tomar, Akarsh Soni, Tunshi Mishra, Harsh Gupta, Himani Sharma, Himani Sharma, Siddhi Sakhpal, Anand Jain, Uttam Gupta, Tanu Agarwal, Saumya Chauhan, Divyansh Khandelwal, Ayush Goyal, Roshni Sharma, Abhishek Gurjar.
