On March 21, celebrated as Democracy Day, Arvind Kejriwal has murdered democracy by politically promoting the rejected leaders Sisodia, Jain, and Bhardwaj. — Virendra Sachdeva

Kejriwal has no choice but to elevate Sisodia, Jain, and Bhardwaj because they are the parrots in whom Kejriwal’s survival depends. — Virendra Sachdeva

New Delhi, March 21: Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva stated that after delivering a resounding slap to the corrupt AAP government by defeating Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, and Saurabh Bhardwaj on February 5, 2025, the people of Delhi were waiting for Kejriwal to take moral responsibility and resign as AAP’s convenor.

Contrary to this expectation, Kejriwal’s organizational announcements today have proven that he lacks any moral values.

The people of Delhi voted for the AAP government in 2013, 2015, and 2020 based on Kejriwal’s face, and everyone, from the public to the media, hailed him as the architect of victory. However, now that the same people have defeated him, seeing him as a symbol of corruption, he has refused to take responsibility and instead shifted the blame onto MLA Gopal Rai.

Shri Sachdeva remarked that Kejriwal blaming Purvanchali leader Gopal Rai for Delhi’s loss is disgraceful.

In 2015, Dilip Pandey was the AAP Delhi convenor during the party’s victory, while in 2020, it was Gopal Rai. Both times, Kejriwal took credit for the win. However, now that the party has lost in Delhi, Kejriwal has removed Gopal Rai from the position of Delhi convenor, not only blaming him but also the entire Purvanchali community for his defeat.

The Delhi BJP President further stated that today, March 21, is Democracy Day —the day when Congress was forced to end its symbol of dictatorship, the Emergency. On such a significant day, Arvind Kejriwal has undermined democracy and moral values by promoting rejected leaders like Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, and Saurabh Bhardwaj to political positions.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva added that Kejriwal, the head of a party drowning in corruption, not only lost the election but is now appointing his corrupt associates as in-charge of Punjab and convenor of Delhi.

Kejriwal has no option but to reward Sisodia, Jain, and Bhardwaj with positions because they are the parrots in whom Kejriwal’s survival depends.
