Indian Industries Association (IIA) to host ‘Build Bharat Expo 2025’ in Delhi—A Global Platform for MSMEs with participation from 34 countries

  • 151 Indian Companies to Participate, Over 34 Countries to Send Trade Delegates  

The Indian Industries Association (IIA) is all set to host the inaugural edition of Build Bharat Expo 2025 from March 19 to 21, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, Hall No. 06, New Delhi. The grand event will be inaugurated on March 19 at 11:00 AM, with the presence of over 20 ambassadors and trade commissioners from different countries, along with several dignitaries from the central and state governments.  

Key Highlights of Build Bharat Expo 2025:  

* Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, will be the chief guest on concluding day. Over 20 ambassadors and trade commissioners will also be in attendance.  
- Exhibitor Participation: More than 151 Indian companies will showcase their products.  
- Global Representation: Over 34 countries, including Austria, Malaysia, Russia, Iran, Canada, and Iceland, will send trade commissioners and business delegations.  
- Focus Sectors: Green & clean energy, agriculture & food processing, building & construction materials, electrical & electronics, ODOP (One District, One Product), and export-oriented products.  

The expo aims to empower Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in North India, by promoting industrial growth, cutting-edge technology, and new business opportunities. Recognized by India’s Ministry of MSME, the event is also supported by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and the MSME & Export Promotion Department of the Uttar Pradesh Government.  

The exhibition will feature 151+ stalls displaying a range of industrial products and innovations. The event expects over 500 architects, 1,000+ entrepreneurs, and more than 15,000 business visitors. Trade delegations from Russia, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Iran, Canada, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, Thailand, and South Korea will attend, strengthening global collaboration. The extensive participation has been facilitated by VSA & Company CEO, Shri Vinod Singh.  

Speaking at the press conference, IIA National President Shri Neeraj Singhal emphasized the vital role of MSMEs in India’s economic growth. He highlighted the need to connect MSMEs with national and international markets, stating that Build Bharat Expo 2025 is a crucial step in this direction. The expo will showcase innovations in green energy, construction materials, electronics, food processing, and ODOP products, aligning with IIA’s mission—Transforming MSMEs Towards Industry 4.0 & 48—and India’s vision of becoming a developed nation.  

IIA Meerut Divisional Chairman Shri Rakesh Aneja expressed gratitude for the support from the central and state governments in making the event a success. Dr. L.K. Pandey, Member of IIA’s Central Executive Committee, shared that the three-day expo will feature seminars on industrial development, covering both national (‘Vocal for Local’) and international (‘Local to Global’) business growth opportunities, with renowned industry experts from around the world.  

Additionally, on March 20, 2025, a B2B networking dinner meeting will be held with business delegations from 25+ countries, including Austria, Iran, Malaysia, and Russia.  

IIA Delhi Chapter State Chairperson Dr. Mamtamayi Priyadarshini highlighted that top industrial organizations and academic institutions like IIT Roorkee will participate, showcasing industrial technology, startup innovations, and patent exhibitions, benefiting young entrepreneurs. Thousands of MSME owners from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, and North-East India are expected to attend.  

IIA Delhi Chapter State Vice Chairman Shri Charanjit Singh emphasized that this expo will create significant business opportunities for Delhi’s MSMEs and small entrepreneurs.
