JU: Food safety training organized in Food Technology Department

Gwalior. Food safety training was organized in the Center for Food Technology Department of Jiwaji University under the aegis of Food Safety and Standards Authority New Delhi. FSSAI, Fostec trainer Sanjay Goyal made the students aware of the irregularities in food safety, setting standards in food industries, food safety standard plan and basic information for improving management. Department coordinator Dr. Manoj Sharma said that it is very important for science students to know the food law for their career. The ill effects of adulteration in food items at present and the ways to avoid them were also told in the training.
