Bribe amount - Rs 11,000/-

Description: - The applicant is the director of Gyan Ganga Academy Thandla District Jhabua,

Whose recognition expired in March 2024, in lieu of renewal of which, accused Sanjay Sikarwar, BRAC and accused Shyamlal Pal were demanding a bribe of Rs 18,000/- from the applicant.

The applicant complained about this to Rajesh Sahay, Superintendent of Police, Vipustha Lokayukta Indore.

On verification, when the complaint was found to be correct, a trap team was constituted on 17.02.2025 and the accused were caught red handed taking a bribe of Rs 11,000/-. Action was taken against the accused under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Amendment Act 2018 and 61 (2) BNS 2023.

Treasonal- Inspector Rahul Gajbhiye, Acting Inspector Mrs. Pratibha Tomar, Constable Vijay Kumar, Constable Anil Parmar, Constable Shailendra Singh Baghel, Constable Manish Mathur and Constable Krishna etc. were present.
