On the second day of the Mudra Mahotsav, a coin from the reign of Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah was sold for 1.30 lakh rupees.

Indore. On the second day of the Mudra Mahotsav, there was a gathering of admirers of ancient coins at Gandhi Hall, located in the heart of Indore, the cleanest city of the country. Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani also attended the festival as the chief guest. Vidyadham's Umesh Muni Maharaj, Suraj Caro, Sarafa Vyapari Association's President Hukum Soni, Secretary Basant Soni, District Haj Committee's Rehan Ansari, Abdul Gaffar etc. also visited the exhibition as guests. Coin collectors from different states of the country are displaying the oldest coins, coins and postage stamps from their stalls in the Mudra Mahotsav.

Giving information, the main organizers, world-renowned numismatist Girish Sharma "Aditya" and Viraj Bhargava said that various organizations are jointly organizing this Mudra Mahotsav. Which includes National Currency Council, Currency Research Trust Indore Numismatic, Philatelic Society, Bhargava Auction and Archaeological Currency Festival. The Currency Festival Money Fair organized in Gandhi Hall has become the center of attraction for everyone at this time. The currency lovers coming here are surprised to see the coins.

The bidding for coins here is also very good. Those coins of ancient currency, looking at which you may not be able to guess their price. It may be just a metal coin for you, but you will be surprised to know the price of these coins in the currency market. Here each coin is priceless. Similarly, an open auction of rare coins was done in the evening through "Bhargava Auction" by Indore's young collector Viraj Bhargava. In which the coin of the reign of Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah was sold for 1 lakh 30 thousand, while the coin of the reign of Mughal Emperor Farrukh Siyar who ruled India from 1713 to 1719 was sold for 47000.

Mughal emperor Jahangir had issued many types of coins during his reign. These include heavy coins of silver, copper and gold. A coin from Jahangir's era was auctioned at a hefty price of Rs 55,000. It was told that these coins are extremely antique and rare. Coins from the Maurya, Gupta, Mughal Empire and British era are on display at the Money Mela being held at Gandhi Hall. There are many coins in the festival which are worth thousands and lakhs. Mughal coins made of silver, gold and copper can also be seen here. Many precious pearls and rare items from the royal era are also being liked a lot. The exhibition will remain open for free for all on Sunday, February 16.
