Gwalior Press Club's exemplary initiative: Financial support to the family of the late journalist

Gwalior. Gwalior Press Club, showing its social sensitivity, provided financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to the family of late journalist Ramkishan Katare. This initiative of the Press Club reflects its commitment towards the interests of journalists and their families.

Recently, the Press Club organized a condolence meeting and paid tribute to the sudden demise of two senior journalists of Gwalior, late Ramkishan Katare and Venkatesh Bhargava. During this, the Press Club also raised the demand of the government to provide financial assistance to the families of the late journalists.

In a meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of Press Club President Rajesh Sharma, it was decided that the Chief Minister would be met regarding the assistance to be received from the Public Relations Department. Apart from this, it was also decided to cancel the traditional Holi Milan function this year in honor of the late journalists.

On Wednesday, a delegation of journalists led by Press Club President Rajesh Sharma reached the residence of late Ramkishan Katare and handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 to his daughter Deepika Katare. During this, Press Club Secretary Suresh Sharma, Divisional President of Madhya Pradesh Journalist Association Brijmohan Sharma, Social Media Cell President Praveen Dubey, Senior Journalist Suresh Dandotiya, Rajiv Agarwal, Harish Chandra, Dinesh Rao, Jayesh Kumar, Yadavendra Katare, Abhishek Sharma, Photo Journalist President Rajesh Jaiswal, Ravi Upadhyay, Mukesh Batham and many other journalists were present.

This initiative of Gwalior Press Club presents an exemplary example in the world of journalism, which shows sensitivity towards the welfare of journalists and their families.
