Collector gave financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 to the deaf and mute artist and wished her a bright future

Ms. Jayatika Parmar has been selected to perform in a three-day program in Australia

Jhabua district's deaf and mute artist Ms. Jayatika Parmar, daughter of Kamlesh Parmar, resident of Subhash Marg, Jhabua, was selected for a performance in Australia and was given financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 by Collector Neha Meena.

The girl's father works as a tailor and was unable to bear the expenses of sending the girl to Australia. Her father told that the total expenses were more than Rs. 80,000 which included visa and travel expenses.

The girl appeared before Collector Neha Meena and applied for financial assistance.

Collector Neha Meena immediately provided financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 and wished the girl a bright future and congratulated the girl in sign language for performing at the international level.

The collector said that performing at the international level is a moment of pride not only for the district but also for the state and the administration always tries to encourage the talented children of the district and tries to help them in every possible way.

The collector also asked the Deputy Director of Social Justice and Disabled Empowerment Department to provide the remaining amount of help through donors and for every other possible help.

Deputy Director of Social Justice and Disabled Empowerment Department Pankaj Sanwale said that discussions were held with the eminent citizens of the city for the help of the girl, after which Dr. Neeraj Singh Rathore, proprietor of Amba Palace Jhabua, provided help of Rs 10,000, Advocate and Rotarian Umang Saxena provided Rs 10,000 and Rotary Club Jhabua provided help of Rs 11,000.

Through the All India Deaf Art and Culture Society, 10 deaf and dumb artists from all over the country have received invitation letters to participate in the grand Ugadi Utsav celebrations organized by Kannada Sangh Queensland Inc. Australia.

Cultural performances will be performed by talented deaf artists in this prestigious event to be held in Australia on 26 April 2025. The team is going to perform in three cities - Brisbane 26 April, Sydney 3 May and Melbourne 4 May 2025. In which Ms. Jayatika Parmar of the district, daughter of Kamlesh Parmar, resident of Subhash Marg Jhabua, has also been selected. She received her primary education from the District Divyang Rehabilitation Center, Jhabua, after that she is currently a B.Com final year student in Indore.
