Rape accused released on bail: Adv Najeeb's plea

Akola: Additional District and Sessions Judge of Khamgaon ordered the release of the accused lodged in Buldhana jail after hearing the bail application. Based on the complaint, the police had registered a case against the accused under the section of raping a minor girl. The 17-year-old minor girl had lodged a complaint at the Civil Lines police station that she lived with her family in Shegaon. She used to commute from Shegaon for higher education. While studying in Shegaon, she met Mohammad Shahbaz alias Awez Nazir Sheikh of Shegaon in 2021. He kept meeting her for various reasons. One day she was at her friend's house, during which the accused called her and took her to a cafe and forcibly had physical relations with her.
